Our tipping competition is back, and it’s better than ever!
Now connected to our Mosaic Membership program.  With Mosaic Points to win every week, tipping is as simple as swiping your card and selecting the winners each week.  Great prizes throughout the competition plus the cash pool AND a bonus Venue Prize that all tipsters are elegible to win, just by participating!

Weekly Rewards

  • Weekly Prize Draw
    Place your tips and receive an entry into the weekly draw (prizes vary week to week but will include tickets to Crows and Port games, golf vouchers, dining discounts and more!)
    PLUS Each entry goes into the draw to win a $250 Venue Prize drawn at the end of the season (redeemable at the Mosaic, X-Golf or Hey Caddy)

  • Perfect Round Bonus
    Tip all 9 games correctly → 2,000 Mosaic points ($20 value)

  • Weekly Round Winner
    Most correct tips wins 2,000 Mosaic points ($20 value)
    (Ties decided by closest margin; prizes split if still tied)

  • Exact Margin Jackpot

    • Starts at 1,000 points ($10 value)

    • Jackpots by 500 points ($5) each week until won

    • Must tip the correct team + exact margin

    • If multiple winners pick the same margin, jackpot rolls over

    • Jackpot resets once won

    • Any unclaimed jackpot at season’s end goes into a random draw for all tipsters

End of Season Prizes

Top 3 on the leaderboard share the cash prize pool:

  • 1st Place: 60%

  • 2nd Place: 25%

  • 3rd Place: 15%

Total prize pool depends on the number of paid entrants.

BONUS SWEEPSTAKE

  • Open to the first 18 fully paid Footy Tipping entrants only

  • Each entrant will be randomly allocated one AFL team

  • Teams are drawn before Game One (Thursday 5 March, 6pm) 

  • Prizes awarded to the teams that finish:

    • 1st (Minor Premiers)

    • 2nd

    • Wooden Spoon (last place)

Prizes will be announced after the June Long Weekend.

How to Enter

  • Open to 18+ only

  • Must be a Mosaic Hotel Member (free to join via app or card)

  • $50 entry fee for the full 2026 season

  • Entries close 6pm Thursday 26 March 2026 (Round 3)

  • Mosaic Staff are able to enter the competition but are not eligible for the Ladder Sweepstake.
  • All entrants must be paid in full by the end of Round 3 to remain eligible for prizes
  • Late entries (before Round 3 closes) will receive the lowest recorded score from completed rounds to keep things fair.

How to Play

  • Tips are placed weekly via the Members’ Kiosk in the Mosaic Hotel Sports Bar

  • Each week, one game includes a margin tip  (margins accumulate across the season, and help decide final placings)

  • If you miss tipping a game or a full round, you will be allocated the Away Teams. Failure to tip at least 4 games in a round makes you ineligible for the weekly prize draw and associated promotions of that round.
